Stephanie Jones, MSc
Research Assistant
Stephanie Jones is a former research assistant with the Sustainability Research Effectiveness Program. Stephanie holds a Master of Science in Sociology with a focus on contemporary identities and inequalities from the University of Bristol, England. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Sociology from the University of the West of England.
In her Master’s dissertation, Stephanie examined gender identities within heavy metal music focusing on the genre’s empowering and oppressive qualities. Specialising in qualitative research methods, Stephanie has experience conducting interviews, focus groups, ethnography, and using photography within research. Photography is one of her passions, and she also runs her own photography business. Several of our team’s headshots and group photos were taken by Stephanie. Stephanie is also a volunteer Women’s Empowerment Project Leader for the non-profit organization Thrive Seed India, where she assists with the sustainable development and growth of gender-based empowerment projects in New Delhi, India.
Stephanie now works as a monitoring and evaluation specialist for Three Hive Consulting. She previously worked as a consultant for the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), collaborating with our team on the evaluation of the Forests, Trees and Agroforestry (FTA) CGIAR Research Program.
